We remember… on Sunday July 2, 2023, when Catherine Matausch presented, with great emotion, his very last “19/20” on France 3, the journalist saw her farewell brutally cut off by an advertising page. Indeed, facing the camera and live, the 63-year-old presenter, after twenty years of good and loyal servicewanted to thank viewers for their loyalty: “I say thank you for all your eyes, for this sharing by interposed screens, for your messages of sympathy…” Of thewarm thanks which were however brutally cut off by launching an advertising page. Asked by The Parisianon July 4, on this incident, the journalist confided her bewilderment: “I asked at one point: ‘But we’re still on the air, there ?’ No one answered me it was a bit of chaos”. This rather inelegant “error” had fortunately been caught up by his colleague from France 2, Laurent Delahousse, who then broadcast, at the end of his news, the full sequence and added: “Thisdiary was dedicated to Catherine Matausch, who presented this evening his last ’19/20′ on France 3″, had launched the 53-year-old journalist with emotion.
This Sunday, July 23, again! And it’s Laurent Luyat, this time which paid the price for an untimely cut in the antenna. While France 2’s flagship sports journalist presented his latest Bike Club live from the Champs-Elysées for the final of the Tour de Francehe could not finish his speech… An incident which certainly displeased this great pro, faithful for many years to the presentation of all the major competitions broadcast on France Televisions, Roland Garros, the Olympic Games and of course the Grande Boucle! While every evening, since the 1er last July, the journalist provided perfect direct, it must be for the final that he is interrupted! The sequence is very clear: “It’s the 8 p.m. news right away on France 2 with Julien Benedetto and we’ll see you on the Champs-Elysées right away…” and the credits start! A launch error which we hope will be quickly corrected.
I didn’t expect so much from the latter @LabasculeFTV frankly Suddenly it’s the 8 p.m. news right away on #France 2and we find @LLuyat on the #ChampsElysées on frank…[#BASCULEFTV] #ToF2023#france3#FranceTelevisionspic.twitter.com/MAQaEfTlXK
