This is a great first in the history of “Koh-Lanta”. Indeed, since the program has existed, no adventurer was declared the winner last season. Blame it on many cheating controversies and in particular the fact that some may have eaten unfairly compared to others. The event shocking the viewers especially since the main responsible for this cheating was none other than Teheiura, very appreciated by the public.
Since then, the iconic adventurer has apologized, but that does not make us forget his fault. Alexia Laroche-Joubert, producer of the show, had already come out of her hinges when she mentioned this case. The latter saying, of course, shocked that such acts could have happened on the set. Denis Brogniart had also reacted. But it is only this Monday, February 21, in the columns of Star TV, that he really gave his opinion on this case. And the least we can say is that he seems to agree with Alexia Laroche Joubert. “I would have given two or three slaps to some of the candidates involved”he confessed before adding: “I was both pained and angry. We have irrefutable proof of what happened, no offense to anyone. We have reinforced security at the camp so that it does not happen again”.
However, he prefers to remember only the good memories of last season and previous editions. In addition, he assures that the production has taken its responsibilities “like few people perhaps would have taken them”. Denis Brogniart finally concluding by giving an overview of what awaits the fans of the program in the next season: “There will be adventurers with no experience, as always, with very different profiles: coach, dancer, entrepreneurs… I think we will find 24 fair-play adventurers”.
