Heavily beaten in Metz (3-0) at the start of the championship, Amiens SC must revive against promoted Annecy this Saturday August 6 (7 p.m.) at La Licorne during the second day of Ligue 2.
Hinschberger: “Making people happy”
“I know we lost our first three games last season but that was a year ago“recalls Amiens coach Philippe Hinschberger. “I prefer to speak in the present or the very near future. We are committed to winning this first game at home by counting on the support of our public that we must take with us by playing a lively game with rhythm, opportunities, and even thrills. We have to be able to create four, five or six chances per game. My goal is to make real matches and give pleasure to people.”
Gélin’s premiere
Still deprived of his striker Aliou Badji awaiting departure, Philippe Hinschberger should be able to field his new midfielder Jérémy Gélin. Too fair physically the former Rennes had not made the trip to Metz last week.
