Four days after the earthquake, aid is still struggling to reach remote villages in Morocco. Update with Alexandra Lay, in duplex in Aït Oublal.
“In this village of Aït Oublal (Morocco) of 200 inhabitants where we find ourselves perched in the Atlas Mountains, all the houses built of raw earth have collapsed. The village school was demolished. We meet children now idle, while there were nine deaths in the village”, details Alexandre Lay, Tuesday September 12.

“In the village, after dark, they use blankets and mats and settle down on boxes on the ground. There are tents that have been brought, but they are still lacking. Food, water, were also brought by volunteers. They tell us that everything is better on this side. Concern, from now ons, are the days to come, as precipitation is forecast”concludes the journalist.
