FAIRFAX | Actress Amber Heard defamed her ex-husband Johnny Depp by portraying himself as a victim of domestic violence, a US court jury concluded on Wednesday after a high-profile trial that offered a deep dive into the privacy of the two Hollywood stars.

The seven jurors answered in the affirmative to the question of whether the title and two passages of a tribune, published in 2018 by Amber Heard, contained defamatory remarks with regard to Johnny Depp, according to the reading of their decision .
The jury awarded the actor $15 million in damages.
