(Fairfax) A psychologist, hired by Johnny Depp’s lawyers as part of the defamation lawsuit he is bringing against his ex-wife, said Tuesday that Amber Heard suffered from personality disorders.

At the helm, Shannon Curry, clinical and forensic psychologist, presented this diagnosis, which she made after having evaluated, in December 2021, the 36-year-old actress over a period of 12 hours.
She indicated that people with the disorders seen in Amber Heard “can react violently”, adding that they “often have abusive behavior towards their partners”.
The actress’ lawyers sought to discredit this testimony, arguing that the psychologist had been hired by the opposing party.
“I report scientific facts regardless of what they tell us,” Shannon Curry told them.
The clinician reported that in a test she performed during her analysis, Mme Heard had “grossly exaggerated” the post-traumatic stress symptoms she may have suffered as a result of alleged domestic abuse.
During his court testimony last week, Johnny Depp denied ever hitting Mr.me Heard or any other woman during his lifetime.
The star of the series Pirates of the Caribbean has several times indicated that Amber Heard was, on the contrary, the one who, in their couple, gave the blows.
Married from 2016 to 2018, the former spouses accuse each other of defamation during this trial, very followed and partly broadcast on American news channels.
In a column published in 2018 in the washington postAmber Heard did not name Johnny Depp, but she mentioned the domestic violence charges she had brought against her husband in 2016.
Last week the actor assured that he had “lost everything” because of these accusations of violence.
He is claiming $50 million in damages, against which his ex-wife also filed a complaint demanding $100 million in compensation, claiming that Johnny Depp had subjected him to “permanent physical violence and abuse”.
