LHJMQ: the Remparts are demolished in Rouyn-Noranda

The Quebec Remparts were given a hockey lesson by losing 5 to 1 Friday night to the Huskies in Rouyn-Noranda in the Maritimes Quebec Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).

The visitors from Quebec were literally bombarded throughout the match with a total of 46 shots directed towards goaltender Vincent Filion by the Huskies.

Despite everything, the Remparts held on, until Danill Bourash made a first breach in the Quebec wall in the middle period.

Although the visitors responded less than five minutes later, the Huskies did not give up and continued their momentum to return to the locker room with a one-goal advantage.

Everything finally fell apart in the third period, first with Bourash’s second of the game, then with two goals in 52 seconds – including one into an empty net – with less than four minutes left in the game.

This is a third defeat in a row for the Remparts, while the Huskies returned to winning ways after two losses.
