LFI seizes Arcom after a violent altercation between Cyril Hanouna and one of its deputies

“We seize the Arcom”, declares the president of the group La France insoumise (LFI) in the National Assembly, Mathilde Panot, Thursday evening on Twitter, after a violent altercation on the set of the program “Touche pas à mon poste” (TPMP) between the presenter, Cyril Hanouna, and LFI MP Louis Boyard.

“What happened tonight on Touche pas à mon poste is very serious”, believes the member of Val-de-Marne. “No one says ‘shut up’ to a Member of my group. Not even Cyril Hanouna and the lackeys of Bolloré”she says.

The tone rises when Louis Boyard criticizes the conservative billionaire Vincent Bolloré, during a sequence devoted to the fate of migrants aboard the humanitarian ship Ocean Viking. “When we say ‘we don’t have the means to welcome them, think of the poor people who don’t have the means’, I would like that at some point we would stop opposing the French who are poor and the immigrants”, he says.

“Today in France, you have five people who own as much as 27 million people, and the five richest people, they are the same people who impoverish France and they impoverish Africa“, he continues. He thus quotes “the example of Bolloré, which deforested Cameroon”.

“Excuse me, darling, you know you’re in the Canal group here, you know you’re in the Bolloré group here,” replies Cyril Hanouna. “What are you doing here then? Bolloré gave you money, you were a columnist here”, he adds, before accusing the deputy of having come “to make a coup of brilliance”.

“It’s you who are making a splash, you’re telling an elected representative of the Republic that he has no right to say something on TV”replies the deputy. “You have already made Zemmour stand for president and now we would no longer have the right to criticize Bolloré, do you realize what you are doing, Cyril?”he adds.

This is where the insults come in. “I received more people from the Nupes [Nouvelle union populaire, écologique et sociale] here that Zemmour, you moron”launches Cyril Hanouna, supported by his chroniclers on set. “If you’re a deputy, it’s thanks to us”he continues.

“Go in a group [de médias] where you have more freedom than here, you don’t even have freedom in the National Assembly, as soon as you speak they shut your mouth [sic]Shut up”he says again, before calling Louis Boyard a “fucker”. The latter ends up leaving the set of the show.

“On TPMP, Cyril Hanouna has just insulted me for having criticized Bolloré, owner of his channel. Cyril Hanouna is as irresponsible with freedom of expression as with the far right. France is taking a worrying turn”reacted the elected official of Val-de-Marne, in the evening on Twitter.

“This sequence with Louis Boyard is proof that on TPMP we can say everything, and invite everyone. If even the deputies want to make a buzz now… Where are we going? Go take a chamomile my Louis and go t ‘buy a suit!’tweeted Cyril Hanouna.
