Operation “clear space” in Marseille: LFI deputy Sébastien Delogu denounces a “communication coup” by the executive
Operation “clear space” in Marseille: LFI deputy Sébastien Delogu denounces a “communication coup” by the executive
(franceinfo)
On the set of 12/13 info, Wednesday March 20, Sébastien Delogu, deputy of La France insoumise of Bouches-du-Rhône, returns to the operation against drug trafficking in Marseille presented the day before by Emmanuel Macron and his ministers.
Guest of 12/13 info from Wednesday March 20, Sébastien Delogu, deputy of La France insoumise des Bouches-du-Rhône, is from the La Castellane district, in Marseille, where Emmanuel Macron went on Tuesday March 19 for the launch of his government’s anti-drug trafficking operation, called “place clean”. Without aligning with Marine Le Pen’s position, the elected official confirms that for him it is a “communication stunt” of government.
“Traffic resumed its place immediately”
The MP calls into question the “results” of the operation presented as large-scale by the executive, i.e. 98 arrests: “We now know from the Marseille newspapers that it was Gérald Darmanin who requested that there be 100 arrests during Emmanuel Macron’s visit”, he says. And to deplore the lack of effectiveness of the system: “We see that the traffic resumed its place immediately after the departure of the police”. A predictable result according to the LFI MP, who underlines: “We do not treat the causes which lead to these consequences, and therefore, everyone has returned to their place”.
