Max Verstappen or Lewis Hamilton? The 20th act of this rivalry in this 2021 season takes place Sunday, November 21 in Qatar, for the first Grand Prix in history to be played in this country (start at 3 p.m.).
On the starting grid Lewis Hamilton set the bar too high at the wheel of his Mercedes to be worried during qualifying by Max Verstappen’s Red Bull. Especially since the Dutchman, 2nd in qualifying, will only be 7th at the start, penalized for not having slowed down under a double yellow flag on Saturday. But he is the current leader of the world championship, with 14 points ahead of the Briton. Three races from the end of the season, the seven-time world champion must win on a circuit cut out for the Silver Arrows. Pïerre Gasly climbed back to 2nd place on the grid thanks to penalties from Verstappen but also from Bottas.
