What course?

CHARA ARTS prepares in 3 years for careers in the design and manufacture of characters for two-dimensional (2D) animated films, in conjunction with the Pôle de l’Image Animée de la Cartoucherie in Bourg-lès-Valence and local studios .

For who ?

CHARA ARTS is aimed at young people leaving high school or already in higher education, passionate about drawing and wishing to receive a short training allowing them to become professionals in animated films and video games. Small in size, 15 students per promotion, the school prepares for careers in creation, animation and the positioning of characters in sets.

Animation cinema is a booming employment sector in France and around the world. Character artist-technicians are sought after in the creative industry of animation and video games, in France or abroad, for the positions of character designer, animator and director.

The students will benefit from the transmission of the know-how of its creator Lévi Lemaire, as well as that of the professionals of the studios of the Pôle de l’image animated at the Cartoucherie site.
