Leverkusen ends the season undefeated, a first in Germany

By winning Saturday against Augsburg (2-1), Bayer Leverkusen became the first Bundesliga club to win the German championship without having lost a match (28 wins, six draws).

Assured of the German champion title for five weeks, Bayer Leverkusen won (2-1) on home soil against Augsburg. The club thus became the first in Germany to finish a full Bundesliga season without defeat. Leverkusen have won 28 league matches, and conceded only six draws.

The men of Europa in Dublin, and Kaiserslautern (2nd division) on Saturday May 25 in the final of the German Cup.
