Letter: Hold a weapon

I don’t know much about war except that it’s not a tabletop game. I can’t imagine myself holding a gun. It’s even more blurry to visualize a context that would make me proud and admirable to do so. I understand that those who do it to defend themselves and protect their territories have no choice. Honor, courage, dignity, pride and admiration are words associated with them. Nevertheless, there are also people who have and make the choice to flee. It’s easier for me to picture them. They are my heroes, like all those displaced for their survival. I would like, through this letter, to associate the words “honor”, “courage”, “dignity”, “pride” and “admiration”, also, to all these people who leave their territories and who cherish life.
