Letter: A class apart

Thousands of Quebec elementary school children who study at home do not have the right to access the COVID-19 test boxes (five tests) that the Quebec government has decided to distribute to students in the primary. I contacted the school board where we are registered and they inform us that we are not included in the distributions and that we must communicate with pharmacies to have them. But pharmacies only give them out to age 14 and over with limited quantities. I have four children, 10 years old, 8 years old, 8 years old and 6 years old, and I find it unacceptable that children in Quebec are harmed by the system. I find it unfair and unjustified not a system which decides to classify our children in a class of their own.
