This Monday, June 19, 2023, Mimie Mathy gave an interview to our colleagues from Pocket TV on the occasion of the upcoming broadcast of a new episode of the television series Josephine, guardian angel. Since 1997, the actress and wife of Benoist Gérard slips into the skin of Joséphine Delamarre. A role that she is obviously not yet ready to leave behind. To date, she does not envisage the end of the program. “Perhaps there is an age limit, but if I believe Line Renaud, we can shoot until 95 years old. This series is a UFO in the middle of everything that is done now. Me, I I always have this desire, confided the actress in the latest issue of the magazine.
But if Joséphine is a character that has made her vibrate for more than 25 years, that does not prevent her from trying other experiences. Fan of soaps broadcast on TF1, she would even like to find the cast of Sète. “At first I watched out of curiosity and then I became addicted to intrigues”she explained before adding: “It gave me great pleasure to shoot in DNA (Tomorrow belongs to us, editor’s note) for a week. I played Lorie Pester’s aunt who has now become a director on the series. My husband looks critically at certain scenes of “ITC (Here it all starts, editor’s note), normal as an expert. But he is amazed by the kitchens in the series! Why not go back there if we find the right idea”.
