Less than a year after the triumphant return of Hungary, the European Handball Cup in their hands, Nantes Neptunes coach sackedannounces his club this Tuesday, February 22.
Elimination in the European League
The president of the club, Yoann Choin-Joubert reacted, in the club’s press release: “Guillaume took his mission to heart with passion and determination. […] We will always keep in mind that he brought the first major title in the club’s history after winning the EHF European Cup in May 2021. Guillaume has my full consideration. I thank him.“
The former player of HBC Nantes certainly pays for the elimination of Nantes handball players in the group stage of the competition of which they were the defending championsthis weekend, after the defeat against the Poles of Lubin.
He is replaced by assistant coach Helle Thomsen, who arrived in January.
