“Les engaged” by Emilie Frèche at the Saint-Jean-de-Luz Film Festival and in 13 other theaters simultaneously

Like a large multiplex, the Sélect of Saint-Jean-de-Luz has joined forces with 13 other cinemas in New Aquitaine for an exceptional evening with the screening in competition at the Saint-Jean-de-Luz International Film Festival and preview of 1st feature film by Emilie Frèche “The engaged”
.
The story : on the road to Briançon, David’s car hits a young exile pursued by the police. Following his instinct, David hides it in his trunk and brings it back to his companion Gabrielle who lives with her two children. Shaken by the fate of this teenager, David undertakes to help him at all costs.

Screening of the film followed by a simultaneous debate

A word of introduction from the artistic director of the festival, Patrick Fabre, before the film begins, then a debate in the presence of Emilie Frèche, the director of this film and Benjamin Lavernhe, who plays the main role. For the spectators of the Select, the questions were asked live. For the other cinemas, Eric Soreau was their spokesperson, receiving comments, reactions and questions from spectators by WhatsApp and SMS.
