This Friday, March 1, TF1 broadcast the “Enfoirés” show. Once again, the show was a real audience success since 8.5 million viewers gathered in front of their small screen to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the event. Among the celebrities who participated in the show: Dany Boon, Tarek Boudali, Patrick Bruel, Nicolas Canteloup, Claudio Capéo, Sébastien Chabal, Julien Clerc, Antoine Dupont, Sofia Essaïdi, Lara Fabian, Patrick Fiori, Élodie Fontan, Jérémy Frérot, Marie-Agnès Gillot, Kendji Girac, Jenifer, Joyce Jonathan, Claire Keim, Philippe Lacheau, Michèle Laroque, Nolwenn Leroy but also Vianney, Vitaa, Christophe Willem, Ycare, Michaël Youn, Zaz, and Zazie.
The Enfoirés make fun of the organization of the Olympics
If these artists mainly came to sing, they did not fail to sign a few small sketches linked to current events. During the show, they talked about the Paris 2024 Olympic Games which will be held next July. They did not hesitate to make fun of the organization which seems chaotic and the consequences of the event which will, for example, cause major traffic problems in the capital.
“The Olympics blocked in the metro, it’s going to be a huge mess all summer. We’re going to live through hell. On foot, at the ticket office, by RER. Welcome to the Paris Olympics!” chanted Michaël Youn, Olympic torch in hand. “I rented my studio for 1,400 euros. You had to go into debt to buy just one small ticket, more than 1,000 euros for taekwondo,” Patrick Fiori replied.
The Minister of Sports responds to them
A little sketch which did not really please the French Minister of Sports, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra who spoke on the microphone of France Bleu. “I first remember the noble cause that the Enfoirés are pursuing. They are great artists. They are fighting for a cause that affects us all.” she first declared.
“Is this my favorite sketch in the entire history of Les Enfoirés? I wouldn’t say that” she then qualified. And to conclude “As Minister of the Games, we will do everything to allay these concerns and to make them lie, both on the organization and the medals”.
