Already 37 years that Les Enfoirés make dance and mobilize France! The troupe has reformed for a new event concert. A dean almost made her return, but withdrew at the last moment…
As we revealed to you, Les Enfoirés were planning to welcome Jane Birkin for her 2022 show, called An air of Enfoirés (broadcast this Friday March 4 from 9:10 p.m. on TF1). The production of the concert had succeeded in convincing her to make her comeback, a first since her last participation, in 1997. It was without counting on the Covid-19, which the mother of Charlotte Gainsbourg and Lou Doillon had contracted. The virus prevented her from going to the Montpellier Arena, where the show was recorded without an audience.
“We are doubly sad, because it was she who had volunteered to come back. She really wanted to get on the show like a normal motherfucker, be on the opening chart, and other songs“, explained Anne Marcassus, the producer of the concert, to Tele-Leisure. Like Jane Birkin, Christophe Maé, Michèle Laroque, Claire Keim and Carla Bruni missed Les Enfoirés because positive for Covid-19.
A few days before the recording of the 2022 concert of Les Enfoirés, Jane Birkin found the sensations of the stage during a show in Maisons-Alfort, his first since his stroke in September. “I’m relieved it happened… I was hypertensive. The next night I had cramps all over“, had confided Jane Birkin to the Parisianfollowing his concert on January 8, 2022. The ex-companion of the deceased Serge Gainsbourg then returned to his stroke which occurred last September and his hospitalization.
“It was especially difficult for my loved ones to live with. Me, I knew that I was in good hands, in places that ultimately please me a lot. Intensive care, I know it by heart, the French public hospitals are brilliant, the nurses adorable. In Nantes where I stayed for a good month, they were great, I had more fun than at homecontinued Jane Birkin. The life of the hospital, I knew it as a child with my father, who was sick all his life. I knew how to come at midnight to tell him one last story that made him laugh. Even the smell of hospitals reassures me. In Avicenne, my preferred hospital in Bobigny, I am practically at home. They have saved me so many times! I would like to do something for them.“
