Cabinet Myriagone Conseil, located in Pérols (Hérault), launched the podcast “Les Contes de l’Innovation” at the end of August 2021. This project was born with the health crisis and the cancellation of events gathering the public. In three months, five episodes were released. They give the floor to professionals who innovate, who tell their story in the form of a tale, delivering at the end a moral, intended for those who innovate or who want to innovate.

What is the editorial line of the podcast?
At the base, the tales of innovation, it was an event. We invited project leaders to come and explain their project, to pitch it in fact. It was no longer possible because of the Covid-19. This is where the “Tales of Innovation” were born: in 10 or 15 minutes, project leaders tell their story in the form of a tale.
For example, we have the story of the hedgehog who, with a potion, saves a bear with memory problems. Another episode takes us to a chocolate factory. Why did you choose the tale?
It is a format that we have known since childhood and which allows messages to be delivered. It seemed essential to us in a context where people have to differentiate themselves. They must present their project, but differentiating themselves. How? ‘Or’ What? The tale was our answer.
The objective is therefore not only to make their history known. Is it also an exercise for them?
Yes there are both. It is an exercise for them, in which they will take a step back. We even had storytellers who were able to make important professional decisions after. For example going abroad.
For listeners, it will help understand how does the innovation process work and integrate good practices. In a tale, you have obligatory passages: allies, tensions, obstacles, repetitions. The fact of showing all this, already, is reassuring. For example, that means that if we encounter failures, we are not alone. Then it allows to see a project in its entirety. And what is important is to achieve his dream.
