Les Bodin’s: These rare natural photos of Vincent Dubois and Jean-Christian Fraiscinet

Jean-Christian Fraiscinet (who plays Christian) and Vincent Dubois (Maria) form one of France’s emblematic comedy duos. For already thirty beautiful years, they have been making entire theaters laugh with their various shows. And the public is so used to seeing the two men made up that they almost forget their true identity as their appearances without costume are so rare.

Indeed, it is more often in the shoes of Maria, an 87-year-old woman with a strong character, and Christian, her 50-year-old son who is very naive, that Vincent Dubois and Jean-Christian Fraiscinet put themselves. One wears a scarf on the head, glasses or even rotten teeth. The other a blue overalls, a red and white checkered shirt and boots. But sometimes, the two men, 57 and 56, have dropped the mask in order to promote their project.

Such was the case on February 1, during the 29th French Film Trophy ceremony at the Intercontinental hotel in Paris. Like Audrey Fleurot or Anna Mouglalis, the two comedians made the trip for their film Bodin’s in Thailand (released February 17, 2021) as you can see in the slideshow. It is also without their stage clothes that Jean-Christian Fraiscinet and Vincent Dubois went to the Gabriel studio for a recording of Can’t wait for next Sunday (broadcast on November 7, 2021 on France 2) and Can’t wait for Sunday (aired June 7, 2020). Without forgetting that of The secret boxbroadcast on January 22, 2021 on France 3.

But this Wednesday, February 9, 2022, it is in the skin of their character that the two accomplices will appear on television. M6 broadcasts the new show Welcome to the Bodins. A show shot on December 14 and 15, 2021, at the Zénith de Nantes. The story ? The village church was ravaged by fire and Christian no doubt has a connection with this tragedy. In an effort to rebuild the building, the Bodins organize a charity show in the courtyard of their farm.

For this show, Jean-Christian Fraiscinet and Vincent Dubois have called on many personalities, including M6 presenter and real estate agent Stéphane Plaza, the star of Scenes of households Frédéric Bouraly or the singer Pascal Obispo.
