It’s almost done. The France Espoirs team easily disposed of Armenia (1-4), Monday, June 6 in Yerevan, in qualifying for Euro 2023. With this success, the Bleuets are six points ahead of Ukraine, second with one game less.

The last match of the French in this group H will be, precisely, against the Ukrainians in Istanbul (Turkey) on Thursday. A draw will be enough for Sylvain Ripoll’s players. A defeat would not be unacceptable either, since they have a much higher goal difference (+26 against +7). In summary, only a defeat by more than nine goals could force Les Bleuets to play a play-off to qualify for the Euros in Romania and Georgia.

Lorient midfielder Enzo Le Fée scored twice, with a clear shot from the left (21st) then a direct free kick (76th). Meanwhile, Amine Gouiri converted a penalty he himself obtained (66th), before Malo Gusto closed the mark (89th). Opposite, an almost harmless Armenia and last of the group fired twice, scoring by Zhirayr Shaghoyan (69th) against.
