It is at the Stade de la Rabine that Gaëlle Mignot and David Ortiz will lead their first home match as coaches of the women’s XV of France, on April 16, at 4:15 p.m. in Vannes. After beating Italy in Parma (22-12), then Ireland in Cork (53-3), the French host the Scots. They will have to win, if possible with the offensive bonus, to keep their dreams of a Grand Slam and final victory in the competition intact. For this meeting, the coaching staff made no less than seven changes compared to the victorious team from Ireland.

The XV du Chardon arrives in France with two defeats on the clock. After having fallen heavily in England (58-7) and at home against Wales (22-34), the Scots are not moving in the shoes of a confident team. The latter will dream of hanging the Blue, as they had been able to do during the 2020 tournament, obtaining the draw (13-13).
