Finish the job. A week after their narrow defeat against the great English favorites (7-13), the players of the XV of France face Fiji, Saturday October 22, at 8:15 am at the Semenoff stadium (Whangarei), for their last group match of the Rugby World Cup 2022.
Deprived of their scrum half Laure Sansus, injured and forfeited for the rest of the competition, Thomas Darracq’s Bleues can, in the event of a victory against the Fijians, qualify for the quarter-finals of the World Cup. Third in Group C behind France, the archipelago was sharply beaten by England (19-84), before recovering against South Africa (21-17).
