The opening of the Studio-Cabaret of the Espace Saint-Denis, which was to take place in June, has been postponed because of what? Because of a case of COVID? Not exactly. It was postponed due to a late delivery of building materials!

But in September, we will be there: the 7 fingers will cut the ribbon for this new venue by paying homage to the Quebec metropolis in My island, my heart (My Island, My Heart in its English version). The artistic director and co-founder of the circus company, American-born Shana Carroll, will celebrate her adopted city in this ode to openness that Montreal is synonymous with.
The actor Didier Lucien will put on the hat of master of ceremonies in this “immersive show” which promises to combine circus arts with theater, dance and song.
The artists who will take over the Studio-Cabaret of the Espace Saint-Denis, which will move into the space formerly occupied by the Théâtre St-Denis 2, will be able to count on a system of 180-degree LED screens.
