Definitely, since Leonor and Sofia are on summer vacation, they haven’t been idle! The day after an outing perfectly well managed by the two sisters at the Dali museum in Figueres, the teenagers met their parents in Barcelona for the award ceremony of the “Princess of Girona” foundation, a very important ceremony for which the whole family had made an effort to dress.
On the arm of her husband, King Felipe VI of Spain, Queen Letizia was absolutely superb in a navy blue dress signed by the Spanish brand Bouret and which perfectly showed her dream figure. Enhanced by Chanel jewelry and pumps, she had tied her hair and was very impressive, smiling as usual.
But if the queen was very noticed, it was the two teenagers who really made an impression: in a long blue dress with a crossover collar designed by another Iberian brand, Miphai, the young heiress Leonor was absolutely dazzling. Hair up in a bun, she even dared to wear low-heeled shoes and showed that at almost 17, she takes her role as the future Queen of Spain very seriously.
Her sister, eternal support, was just as pretty: at 15, the discreet Sofia was dressed in a rather impressive beige ensemble, consisting of a tunic and pants. Much taller than her mother and sister, she preferred to stay flat with Carolina Herrera ballerinas. But by showing that she is now a real young girl, perfectly ready like her sister to take on an important role in the monarchy.
No more mats indeed: the teenager had smoothed her long blond hair and seemed rather comfortable, she who was separated from her big sister for a year. Indeed, Leonor had been sent to one of the best high schools in Europe last year in Wales, along with other European heiresses.
A high school in which she was able to live a real teenage life which is more difficult for her in Spain, where all eyes are on her. It is even rumored that she would have found love there with a young boy in her class, on whom we have only a few details: the teenager would only be “tall and slender“, with a beard according to the Spanish media.
