Léo Bergère, from the Saint-Jean-de-Monts club, is crowned European champion

In triathlon, an athlete from our region is crowned European champion this Saturday evening in Munich. His name is Leo Bergereis 26 years old and comes from club of Saint-Jean-de-Monts in Vendée. This Saturday, he climbed on the first place of the podium and is ahead of two other Frenchmen, Pierre Le Corre and Dorian Coninx. This is the very first time in history that French triathletes have won the treble at the European Championships.
