Exciting Developments on TF1
TF1 is kicking off 2025 with an exciting lineup! The channel has launched three new series this January, including the captivating Erica and Tout le bleu du ciel, which is inspired by the bestselling novel by Melissa Da Costa. Additionally, the second season of Panda, featuring the talented Julien Doré, has also made its debut. Following the successful Miss France election in December, preparations are in full swing for the return of other beloved programs. Soon, The Voice will take center stage in prime time, introducing two fresh faces as coaches: Patricia Kaas and Zaz. Meanwhile, M6 is set to unveil new editions of Pékin Express and L’amour est dans le pré, while the much-anticipated return of Danse avec les stars is also on the horizon.
Anticipation for Danse avec les Stars Season 14
For weeks now, TF1 has been building excitement for the 14th season of its popular dance show. The network has unveiled the names of the four judges, including last year’s standout Mel Charbot. The lineup of celebrities ready to hit the dance floor is gradually being released, starting with swimming champion Florent Manaudou. Other participants include host Nelson Monfort, singer Julie Zenatti, football stars Franck Lebœuf and Adil Rami, along with actress Charlotte de Turckheim and professional dancer Yann-Alrick Mortreuil.
Additionally, a former Koh Lanta contestant is also in the mix. Sophie Davant is set to dance with Nicolas Archambault, who is looking for redemption after a previous season with singer Cœur de Pirate. At 60, Davant is embracing new experiences, stating, “It’s now or never!” In a lighthearted response to her partner’s concerns, she reassured him, “Just because we dance doesn’t mean we lose our intellectual abilities!” Davant will also be competing against Lénie, a former star academy contestant from season 11, who will be partnered with Jordan Mouillerac.
Jordan Mouillerac, who rose to fame on TF1 in 2017, is known for breaking barriers as the first dancer to have a same-sex partner on the show, Bilal Hassani. Having recently reunited with Cristina Cordula for the last season, he now faces an exciting new chapter in his life as he prepares to become a father. He announced the joyful news on Instagram, revealing that he and his partner Jessica Sent are expecting a child. Accompanying a series of black-and-white photos, Mouillerac wrote, “Because it’s you.”
In a touching nod to the romantic hit by Axelle Red, his post quickly garnered tens of thousands of likes and heartfelt comments, including a congratulatory note from former partner Cristina Cordula. The judges Mel Charbot and Fauve Hautot also expressed their excitement, with Charbot sending “lots of love” and Hautot responding with a red heart emoji.
Denitsa Ikonomova, who welcomed her first child in November 2024, also shared her joy for the couple, commenting, “Let’s go more babies!” Encouraging words from a fellow dancer and mother, Ikonomova has openly shared her own motherhood journey on social media.
