Legault will unveil his council of ministers on October 20

(Quebec) Premier François Legault will unveil the composition of his cabinet on October 20, at 2 p.m. The swearing-in ceremony of the CAQ deputies will take place two days earlier, on October 18.

They will be 90 deputies out of 125 from the government formation, the Coalition avenir Québec (CAQ), while the places available in the cabinet are limited.

During his first term, Mr. Legault had formed a cabinet of 26 members, falling within the accepted norm and tradition. If this time, given the large number of members in his caucus, he chooses to reach or exceed 30 ministers, he will probably be accused of squandering public funds and needlessly multiplying the number of ministerial limousines with driver and bodyguard.
