(Los Angeles) Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is only just getting made, according to Forbesthe first billionaire working basketball player who already seems to know what to do with his money: own an NBA team in Las Vegas.

“I want to own a team. I want to buy a team, that’s for sure. I want a team in Vegas,” the 37-year-old said on his talk show The Shop.
Las Vegas is often a city mentioned to see an NBA franchise set up there in the future, like Seattle. But last week, League boss Adam Silver ruled out any immediate expansion to 32 teams.
But there is a project to build a new hall in Las Vegas, in addition to the Allegiant Stadium inaugurated in 2020, where the NFL team, the Raiders, plays.
A four-time NBA champion, James is co-owner of Fenway Sports Group, which owns the Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Penguins and shares in the Liverpool Soccer Club.
He also owns SpringHill Company, a production and entertainment company, which edited the film. Space Jam: A New Legacyreleased last year with himself starring.
