Lebanese Hezbollah attacked Israel on Sunday morning, August 25, a promise made after one of its leaders was killed in an Israeli strike.

At night, Hezbollah rocket fire is visible in the sky. Most of it is intercepted by the IDF’s air defenses. At daybreak, a drone launched from Lebanon crashes on an Israeli highway, another on a chicken farm. The Israelis are retaliating. In one photo, we can see a spectacular image: that of a Hezbollah drone shot down by a fighter jet from the Hebrew state. Hundreds of military targets in Lebanon are said to have been destroyed.

With this attack, Hezbollah intended to avenge the death of one of its commanders, killed by the Israelis at the end of July in Beirut. This Sunday, August 25, in the morning, the Shiite party published a propaganda video, as a show of force. This evening, August 25, its leader spoke. He claims that the operation is a success and that Israel is lying to its population about the reality of the damage. Israel claims for its part that the Hezbollah attack is a failure.
