Nobody believed it and yet, Lea Salame was able to prove that she had the makings of a great animator. Launched in September 2022, its program “What an era” managed to gather millions of viewers on average throughout the year on France 2. Surrounded by Philippe Caverivière, Paul de Saint-Sernin and Christophe Dechavanne, Léa Salamé ends a successful year, which did not fail to move her for the last of her show, June 24, 2023.
Proof of its success? The prize she just won. Our colleagues from Puremedia have just announced the results of “TV Notes 2023” which reward the best programs in the French audiovisual landscape over the past year, the best presenters and presenters, as well as the best journalists. Raphaël Enthoven’s companion won the prize for the best host of the season and is very proud of it.

Léa Salamé, aware that she owes her success to her team
However, the one who was able to revive Christophe Dechavanne is aware that she owes this award, and the success of her show, to the people around her. This is why, during an interview with Puremediashe did not fail to thank her columnists, or rather her “permanent guests”. Indeed, according to his words, the ex-host of TF1 who prematurely left the set of “What an era” June 10, 2023 would not be a “columnist”.
“I just specify that he is not a columnist, but a “permanent guest” (laughs)”she said before adding: “He won’t like it if you write ‘columnist’ (laughs)”. When she talks about her “permanent guest”Léa Salamé admits that the beginnings were not easy for him: “we groped on the first emissions”. “When I think back to the start of the season, we were all looking for our marks and our place. And at the end, Christophe seems happy. He is a happy man who is coming back strong and in good shape. In my opinion , he will do even better next year”she hopes, confident for the future.
Finally, the 43-year-old journalist assures that viewers will be able to find a “Dechavanne constantly reinventing itself” next season.
