Dancing with the stars 2022 is back this Friday, September 16, on TF1. The last six duos will be presented to the public and will perform for the first time on the floor. At the end of the show, a candidate will be eliminated, like David Douillet last week. Among the participants, viewers will discover Lea Elui, the most followed French influencer on social networks. Asked by TV Magazineshe confided in this crazy adventure.
It was at the age of 16 that the charming 21-year-old blonde became known by sharing belly dance videos on TikTok (network on which she has 17.3 million subscribers). But, the one who subsequently created humorous videos and makeup and hairdressing tutorials on Instagram and on YouTube assures her, she is not advantaged for the competition. “It’s a big challenge. I accepted to surpass myself and show that I do a little more than my little dances on TikTok“, she confided to TV Magazine.
Although she has notions of dance, it’s as if she was starting from scratch since ballroom dancing is technically very different from what she is used to doing. “I never used to use my legs and feetbut it’s the basis of ballroom dancing so it was a bit complicated at first but it’s starting to come. I start from nothing so, suddenly, I have everything to learn and apparently my dancer told me that it was a good thing“, she continued.
With her partner (whose identity we still don’t know), the feeling immediately passed, to the point that she established a relationship of trust with him. Léa Elui has indeed delivered a lot. “Some people will understand me, others maybe not. But, in any case, I expressed what I had to express“, confided the young woman who was victim of bullying in college and high school. An ordeal that made her lose confidence in herself. So she expects a lot of Dance with the stars. “It’s a show where you rediscover yourself, you get to know yourself again, and I hope to regain some self-confidence. Anyway, that’s what I have to work on“, she concluded.
