This Tuesday March 5, 2024, Canal+ will broadcast the film Last summer, less than six months after its theatrical release. Actress Léa Drucker is the heroine, and plays the role of a renowned lawyer specializing in sexual violence against minors. During the storyline, the heroine finds herself confronted with the demons she has been fighting against for years, by starting an incestuous relationship with his minor stepson. A shocking film, on which Léa Drucker returns this Sunday in Laurie Cholewa’s cinema show called Head(s).
During the interview, Michel Drucker’s niece will react to the courageous and saving speech of Judith Godrèche, who publicly pointed out the facts that she attributes to the filmmakers Jacques Doillon and Benoît Jacquot. Léa Drucker remembers from the filming of Last Summer some difficult scenes to shoot, since the 52-year-old actress had to shoot fiery scenes with Samuel Kircher, just 18 years old. Scenes that marked her, as it was so complicated for her to have to perform such powerful and moving scenes with a young adult 34 years his junior : “I asked a lot of questions in preparation, very technical questions” remembers the actress, who was able to count on the support of the actors and technical teams, who gave her a lot of support.
“It was very difficult, it was very intimate”
Fortunately for Léa Drucker, the sex and nude scenes she filmed with Samuel Kircher were actually focused on their facesand the bodies did not appear on screen: “The director explained to me how she wanted to film it. That it wasn’t the flesh, but that it would be the faces”. But even if it was only a question of the faces, the filming of these scenes proved dangerous for Léa Drucker, who had a lot of difficulty being tactile and loving with the young actor: “I think I have limits (…) The facial was very difficult, because it was very intimate.” In the end, Marie Drucker’s cousin managed to push herself to the limit, and performed the scenes that were asked of her: “I put myself in a state of confidence, not resistance; that would have been too difficult.”
