Le Vieux Chêne in Bosdarros receives the gold medal for foie gras but not only…

In a month it will be a year since Fabienne and Laurent Mazerolles, the brothers and sisters of the company “Le Vieux Chêne” in Bosdarros, are officially the leaders of this family business. Laurent explains that anyway both of them have done studies to perpetuate this know-how and take care of the destiny of the company.

2 gold medals: organic country pâté and semi-preserved whole duck foie gras (various seasonings with alcohol dominance), one silver and one bronze!

Presenting products to the general agricultural competition which has distinguished the know-how and excellence of French products for 150 years was an idea of ​​Fabienne and Laurent. The procedure is very rigorous with the complicity of the chamber of agriculture and these famous medals reinforce the ideas carried out and reassure the gourmet. 2022 is therefore a good year for “Le Vieux Chêne”. Laurent Mazerolles is particularly proud of the gold medal for the pâté campaign of the very recent organic range of the house which has 2 advantages to help the company when avian flu strikes and delights consumers. In the meantime, “Le Vieux Chêne” has not yet received the precious medals to stick on the products awarded for barely a week.
