Monday, October 17: C. Jérôme
The objective of the Schlouk is to practice dance
One of C Jérôme’s great hits is “Tu danses avec lui”, where he says that he observes the one he loves dancing a slow dance with another man.
The heroism of the Schlouk is to have been in the middle of storms
C Jérôme, was raised by his grandparents in Champenoux, a village in Meurthe-et-Moselle near Nancy. His first rock n’ roll band was called the Storms (Storm means storm in English).
The life of the Schlouk could have been adapted to the cinema by François Truffaut
François Truffaut made a film in 1983 entitled Can’t wait for Sunday. C Jérôme sometimes took part in the Vivement dimanche program with Michel Drucker, where he presented a souvenir section.
