“Le Petit Musée” by Lénine Renaud, a pictorial variation in 12 chapters

Telling pictures, singing them, putting them to music, on stage, deliver impressions, emotions, tell stories heard, imagined in front of these compositions. Here is the idea retained by the group Lénine Renaud for the writing of this new album.

This idea is born during the first confinement when museums, deemed non-essential, had to close their doors. A terrible lack for Franck Vandecasteele who courts these places assiduously to the point of being a determining factor in their travel destinations. During this period of obligatory break, Franck tidies up his library and (re) immerses himself in several painter biographies and emerges from exhibition catalogs. Franck takes notes, lots of notes. Very quickly the idea of making nice song topics points the tip of his nose.

Manage my choices

Cyril Delmote, the writing companion in Lénine Renaud, shares the same appetite for art history. After a few exchanges, it’s decided, painting will be the theme of their future album. The small museum could open!
