Le Grêlé, former serial killer, seen at Nagui, “found” in the M6 show, “Who wants to be my partner?”

We welcome […] Francis […] La Grande-Motte, retired police officer”. This is what the voice-over of “Everyone wants to take its place”, which in 2019 was still presented by Nagui. The show, which has since been hosted by Jarry on France 2, once hosted a man who we had no idea was a serial killer. His name is François Vérove, alias “the Pockmarked”, as our colleagues from Marianne explain. And when he committed suicide on September 29, 2021, in Gard, he confessed everything.

A serial killer on Nagui’s show

He is the man behind the death of Cécile Bloch, 11 years old, stabbed and raped on May 5, 1986, or of Gilles Politi, 38 years old, and Irmgard Mueller, 20 years old, both killed on April 29, 1987. And he participated on the France 2 game show in 2019. François Vérove escaped the police for 35 years, but confessed everything before killing himself. And the DNA matches.

At Nagui, he was eliminated in the first round of the show, with zero points, but a television fan thought he recognized François Vérove, in another program. On the Web, this Internet user was ironic about the affair: “For the record, he is not dead, he also appears every Wednesday on the show on M6.”Who wants to be my partner?“.

His double appears in the M6 program

It must be said that the resemblance with Jean-Pierre Nadir, boss of Fairmoov, who participated in seasons 2, 3 and 4 of “Who wants to be my partner?” on M6, is striking. Broadcast from January 17, 2024, the final season saw the arrival on board of former basketball player Tony Parker. The 8 episodes can be followed on 6Play, if you missed them.
