The first title unveiled, “60 euros” sets to music the poignant confessions of a patient to her shrink. The duo tells us about us and proves once again that the 2 artists write songs that touch. Because nothing is taboo at Slogan, except fatality.
This is followed by “The doors” on the weight of the heritage, “The girls of 1992 are thirty years old” which paints a humorous portrait of their generation, “The bottom of the class” and the mistakes that make us what we are before ending with “Long Séjour” a poetic and incisive farewell letter. But if this last track closes Slogan’s debut EP, it’s certainly not a testament but the promise that the best is yet to come!
