The unexpected meeting | Safia Nolin having had to cancel her participation in the festival at the very last minute, Matt Holubowski received a phone call Friday evening to ask him if he wanted to come and give a show on Saturday at the end of the afternoon. Challenge very well taken up off the cuff, solo, on a stage set up in the open field, surrounded by bales of hay. He’s dipped into a few albums, in addition to showcasing new material, in anticipation of an album due out later this year. And as magic often works spontaneously at the Festif, chance wanted the rain to start falling heavily at the end of the performance. Never mind, Matt Holubowski invited the public to go on stage, sheltered, with him, to close the show with “The impostor”, from his album “Solitudes”, when an arc- rainbow appeared.
