Le Bournat reopens tomorrow and celebrates (already) its thirtieth anniversary

Bournat Park celebrates the past, the traditions of yesteryear, the 1900s. A village of Périgord is reconstituted there. About twenty craftsmen work there. From the baker to the ironworker. The carnival is also part of the rides of the time, but restored.

Le Bournat, theme park, is a carbon copy of a village in our region with its windmill, its church, its town hall.

The concept is acclaimed in the Dordogne, the Parc du Bournat is very popular. Especially in summer.

For this thirtieth anniversary, (day for day it is July 10) the Park will put the package (gift) on animations. But also, a challenge: build in two years a replica of the plane with which Louis Blériot crossed the English Channel in 1909. The beginnings of aviation… and many revolutions: the 20th century was also the arrival of cinema, the mechanization of our territories, ….
