Lawyer Richard Dubé, co-author of Indefensible, is dead

(Montreal) Lawyer Richard Dubé, criminal lawyer in Quebec for several decades and co-author of the television series Indefensibledied suddenly last Saturday.


The news was announced late Sunday evening in a press release by the audiovisual and digital production house Pixcom, which indicates that Mr. Dubé was also the idea ofIndefensiblea daily series broadcast on the TVA network co-written and produced by his partner, Izabel Chevrier.

The president of Pixcom, Nicola Merola, and the first vice-president, the actor and animator Charles Lafortune, affirm in the press release that Richard Dubé was an exceptional being whom they considered a friend. He was unifying, daring and creative, they add.

Richard Dubé was registered in 2013 as Duty Advisor to the International Criminal Court in the Netherlands.

The actors Sébastien Delorme, Anne-Élisabeth Bossé and Michel Laperrière are part of the main cast of the series Indefensible.
