(Antalya) Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in Turkey on Wednesday evening, where he is to meet his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba, for the first diplomatic meeting at this level since the invasion of Ukraine by Russia on February 24 , a Turkish official told AFP.

The talks scheduled for Thursday morning in Antalya are part of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s efforts to play a mediating role since the start of the crisis.
