(Laval) A sexagenarian died after being hit by a vehicle while crossing the street late Tuesday afternoon in Laval.
According to the Laval Police Department, the man was hit when he was crossing boulevard des Laurentides around 4:30 p.m.
The victim was confirmed dead at the scene, police said.
About an hour later, another collision occurred, this time near Cartier Boulevard.
A woman was then struck by a motorist and had to be taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The driver involved was also taken into care because of a nervous shock.
Investigators and forensic identification technicians were called to the scene of both incidents to shed light on the circumstances that led to these two collisions.
