Laval tragedy: the police set up a command post

A command post will be set up Thursday by the Laval police near the Sainte-Rose daycare center.

Psychosocial workers from Urgence sociale and officers from the Prevention squad will also be on hand to support citizens, the Laval police service (SPL) announced on Twitter Thursday morning.

“Collaboration and monitoring will continue to be ensured with our partners in the [CISSS de Laval]the Center de services scolaire de Laval and the [STL] so that all necessary aid resources can be made available to the population,” the SPL said.


The SPL also reminded that all those affected by the events could access assistance resources by dialing 811, option 2.
