Laval Rocket: an unlucky injury for Cayden Primeau

Young goaltender Cayden Primeau was forced out of the Laval Rocket’s game against the Belleville Senators on Saturday, even though he didn’t see any action.

Sitting on his bench while serving as an auxiliary to Quebecer Kevin Poulin, Primeau was hit in the face by a stick. The Michigan native was forced to retreat to the locker room, and was never seen again.

Primeau has posted a 4-6-2 record, .893 save percentage and 3.53 goals-against average since the start of the season with the Rocket.

The former seventh-round pick of the Montreal Canadiens is going through a rather hollow period, after leading the Rocket to the Eastern Conference finals last spring.

The Rocket are visiting Belleville looking to win their second straight game and seventh game this season in 20 chances.
