A condo rented by well-known entrepreneur Olivier Primeau in Laval was the target of gunfire overnight from Sunday to Monday, learned The Press. The principal concerned, however, claims that he was not the person concerned.




One or more suspects would have presented themselves around midnight and would have targeted the accommodation located at 3e floor of the Aquablu real estate complex, in Laval, on the side of rue Étienne Lajoie.

At around 9 a.m., the Service de police de Laval (SPL) was then alerted by the building manager that shots had been fired at a particular condo, its spokeswoman, Stephanie Beshara, confirmed. without wanting to confirm the name of the owner or tenant of the condo in question.

Upon their arrival, the officers noted the presence of several bullet holes visible in the windows of the accommodation. Crime scene technicians were called to the scene to reconstruct the facts.

On Tuesday, planks were placed over the windows targeted by the shots.

The police will probably view the surveillance cameras of the building in order to identify the author of the shots.

Primeau reacts

Joined Tuesday, Olivier Primeau confirmed the facts, but denied being the target of the shots. He spoke with SPL officers on Tuesday about it.

“I know it, I can say it, I have nothing to do with it. I’m zero stressed in there, ”he then explained. “Who lives in the condo above mine?” I’ve no idea. »

The businessman, who confirms renting this condo bordering the Rivière des Prairies for “five or six” weeks, is currently in Miami, Florida, and was therefore not present on the evening of the crime.

Olivier Primeau, however, claims to fear the consequences of this news on his business. “I never had any threats, I never had anything. It’s so big for me, but I feel my life is zero in danger. He adds that he is “100%” convinced that the police investigation will show that he was not the target of these shots.
