Several gunshots were heard in the Viau bridge area in Laval in the middle of the day on Friday. No one was injured in the event.
A residence on rue de Brest, in the Pont Viau sector in Laval, was targeted by gunfire around 11:55 a.m. Friday.
An investigation was opened by the Laval City Police Department. Several witnesses will be questioned. A scene was erected and several officers were deployed, as well as a dog handler unit.
No one was injured in the event.
The investigation into this matter is continuing, indicates agent Stéphanie Béchara, Laval police public relations. At the time of writing, no arrests had been made in connection with this case.
