At just 15 years old, Laurie was already totally addicted to drugs, to crack. Six years later, far from this nightmare, Laurie Moucheron recounts her descent to hells but especially his resurrection in the book “Laurie and the Hill of mirages”.
Laurie Moucheron returned to live in her city located in Belgium, far from her Parisian hell. Laurie is now a peaceful mother. At 21, she leaves behind years of wandering and her precarious camp near Crack Hill (Paris). For months, she lived on a mound of earth near the ring road.
It was at the age of 15 that she discovered crack. “I immediately really liked it. I had the impression that I managed the thing, but not at all in fact”, says Laurie. The fall is very fast. In Paris, to afford this very addictive substance, Laurie will do everything: the sleeve in the metro, thefts then quickly prostitution as the only solution. It’s a gear she can’t get out of. And then one day, after several miscarriages, she becomes pregnant. It was then, at the age of 19, that she had a realization and decided to stop everything.
