(Sainte-Marguerite-Du-Lac-Masson) A man in his forties lost his life after swerving his vehicle in Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson, in the Laurentians.
The accident occurred around 4 p.m. on the way to Chertsey in the town of Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson.
“According to initial information, the driver lost control of his vehicle before hitting a tree,” said Sergeant of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), Catherine Bernard.
The driver was transported to a hospital and was in critical condition. The SQ later said the man did not survive.
According to the SQ, speed could be involved in this accident.
An investigator specializing in collisions went to the scene to clarify the causes and circumstances of the event.
